Physical Therapy
Sean Jordan is living his dream working for the New England Patriots as an assistant athletic trainer and physical therapist.
The experiences I had at UMass Lowell helped me gain confidence as a clinician and gave me the chance to network and grow as a professional.

Civil & Environmental Engineering
A former carpenter sidelined by the recession, Christopher Ingemi went back to school at Middlesex Community College and then transferred to UML. Now, thanks to his job in a lab, he’s completed his master’s in civil engineering and found a great job as a bridge designer.
Because I had worked in construction, civil engineering seemed like a natural fit.

Psychology
The Moloney Student Fellowship Fund allowed Mathew D’Entremont to take an unpaid internship with a Lowell nonprofit.
It was good to learn about an organization like Coalition for a Better Acre in the city where I go to school.

Public Administration
Jessica Amedee interned at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce as the university’s first Civic Action Project fellow. The program for UMass graduate students in public policy and related fields introduced her to a network of inspiring professionals.
I met a number of people I would be able to reach out to. I also met great people from the other UMass campuses.

Allyson Toppi never thought she could work in robotics. An internship at Brooks Automation changed her mind – and turned into a full-time job.
I never questioned that women could be engineers, because here was one in front of me, and she was so smart, strong and capable.
